ITINERARY

Day 1: Visit La Comandancia, Castro’s mountain headquarters, then travel on to the place where Castro and his men landed back in Cuba (Desembarco del Granma National Park), visiting museums such as La Demajagua and Celia Sanchez's casa on the way. Walk around the El Guafe archaeological park and enjoy lunch in the quiet little Cabo Cruz fishing community. Stay in Manzanillo city.

Day 2: Travel the remote southern road to Pilón. Stay in Pilón.

Day 3: Continue on to Santiago or Bayamo, stopping at Los Acantilados along the way.
